Best Places in Patna to enjoy weekends.
Restaurants, Cafes and Hot-Spots of Patna to Enjoy YOur Weekends |
Hello
there, many of you who are reading this right now are working professionals or
might be students. But one question is common for all of us, how to spend our
weekend in the city we live and love. Patna, also known as Patliputra has a
brief history but we will not go into that part. Some of you love to spend your
weekend chilling at home watching Web Series and Movies, but there are some who
love to explore, meet their friends and hang out in the coolest places in the
town. So this one is for you who love to explore the town and spend weekends chilling out with friends.
Patna has
significantly developed in the last few years and now our generation has the most
to explore in our lovely city. Let’s go amigos.
I will
start with some of the good restaurants you can visit in Patna. This is my
personal opinion depending on their service and my personal experience with
them.
The
Downtown Café.
Most of you
have visited this place or maybe heard about it. I will put it on the top of my
list as it is one of the best restaurants in town serving delicious Chicken items.
Apart from it I also love their open area sitting. Talking about their price
and all. They are pocket friendly and a good spot to hang out with your friends
their Chicken Biryani and Hot and Spicy Crispy Chicken are just awesome. So don’t
forget to try that if you visit there. Thank me later.
53 Café House
If you don’t
hear this name yet, then friends you are seriously missing out on an awesome
place in town. This Café is situated in Patliputra and this one of its kind in
Patna as they have a completely open sitting space with some traditional table
and chairs along with it they have bean bags to make you more comfortable with
your friends. They also have a stage equipped with a screen and I hope that
will make a hotspot during the upcoming IPL season. Now let’s talk about food.
Their food is great in test and their tandoori items are the ones you should
check out. Talking about their price don’t worry they are very affordable for
you. I personally prefer starters whenever I visit new cafes and restaurants.
The price range of starters varies between 180-300 around.
Barbeque
Nation
This place
is a heaven for non-veg lovers, although it’s on a higher side as per the
prices. But you can consider it once in a while to celebrate your friend's
birthdays and all. To be very honest they serve a great variety of delicious
and mouth-watering starters along with it their desserts are great in taste.
But only one thing that I personally didn’t feel right is their main course. It’s
not that great. If you also have faced a similar thing then please let me
know. But one thing is sure, BBQ takes your feedback very seriously. That’s why
they are in my list as the place is a great option for a lovely evening.
Kokomojo Café
This is one
of the places I liked the most, the sole reason behind it is their coffee. They
serve one of the best coffees in the town. I am a Tea love, but still, I love
their cappuccino. This place gives you a very good vibe and you can visit this
place if you are thinking to spend some time with a friend of the opposite gender.
I really feel you will have quality time.
Now, these
are some of the Cafes and Restaurants I visited in the last two months. I will about some
more as more exploration journey continues to go on. Now let’s move to some
spots for having mouth-watering street foods.
Maurya Lok Complex
This place
is one of the hot spots in Patna and on weekends you can see a huge crown in
this place. I think it’s the quick pick of many of you. Now let’s come to the
point of what are food items you can get a taste of. So here we go here you will
have chilly momos, Chocolate Shake, Pav Bhaji, Sandwich, Litti Chokha ( I would
also suggest if you visit Maurya Lok then eat litti-chokha from D.K Litti
Corner as they are one of the best in town).
Kankarbagh
( Behind Patliputra Sports Complex and Doctors Colony)
Kankarbagh
has grown at a rapid pace during the last couple of years, the area has some of
the great restaurants in town like The Downtown Café, Café Picolli and much
more but they also have some great spots for your group. One is behind
Patliputra Stadium as the back road has several tea stalls serving momos and
all but you are thinking what’s the highlight. So friends the whole backside
has several trees and parking space and their Tea Stalls owners have enlightened
the place with LED lights all along the trees and the view is significantly
great. So I suggest do visit at least once and let me know how you feel.
Doctors
Colony has many spots for food lovers, but we are talking about street food so
just visit the place opposite Medanta Hospital entrance you will see a couple of
options like a Chinese food truck, Milk Shakes and a store serving Sandwiches.
These are
some of my favorite places to spend time during weekends with my friends. I
would like to know a bit from your side too that wherein Patna you love to spend
time your friends. Also, let me know what's your views on the article.
